Personality: The Hollywood Blonde

Personality: The Hollywood Blonde

We all have one in our lives, we know exactly who they are and we know what they are doing in society. They are attention seeking, stereotypical blondes (or in some cases other colored hair) that look like an idiot to make people laugh and like them. If you fit this description there is practically a 99% chance that I hate you with a passion. “Now Cameron hate is a strong word”. I know. That’s why I said it. Very few types of people in this world get on my nerves and unfortunately for anyone out there who is like this, you are one of them.
Now keep in mind I don’t mean the people that are genuinely ditzy and don’t know they are doing it, I mean the people that are consciously making an effort to look idiotic but then actually have a brain to use unlike some other people who weren’t born with a genius brain. For instance, there is a girl at my school codename: Hollywood Blonde that is such a fake ditz. She acts all silly and stupid and makes fun of herself and how “silly and not smart she is” (direct words from her own mouth I swear to you) and then just recently in an academic assembly she scored in the 99th percentile in the Iowa Assessments, meaning she is smarter in the core subjects than 99% of the teenagers our age in Iowa. Then the next day she goes right back to being a ditz and yet her grades look like gas prices nowadays they are so high. I rarely hate on anyone but I just can’t stand people who kid themselves to the world and lie and then turn around and show everyone up. It comes off to me as a form of arrogance and cockiness that just grinds my gears. Many people in the world work hard to get the rewards they do, some kids in my own school struggle to get good grades because they want to go to a good college and have a good life after their educational days. Meanwhile people like Hollywood Blonde get the world handed to them on a silver platter with a side of nuts and all they have to say is something like: “Those are peanuts, I ordered cashews.” They abuse their god-given gifts and it makes me wish he could take them away because I don’t think they deserve any of them if they are going to squander them under their own foot.
So to all you Hollywood Blondes out there, knock it off. Seriously, who are you trying to fool? We all see right through it and it’s not funny or cute. It’s offensive to those who work hard and barely get by. I seriously hope you get an attitude adjustment or else I will come over and give you one myself (with an imprint of the bottom of my shoe on your forehead for good measure). Hollywood Blondes… we do not salute you, because I feel like you are not American. You do not deserve it.

  1. I really enjoyed reading this post because I knew exactly what you were talking about. I enjoy the fact that you didn't just hate on "Hollywood Blondes"; you actually gave your reasoning about how it is unfair to hard-workers.
